living standard

It was pretty clear to those who'd met me that I loved make-up. I've never left a house without wearing at least a lipstick.

And those who knew me closely knew that I bought only brands that I knew worked well for my face.

The likes of Estee Laudre, Chanel, Dior.

Mother commented that I dared to spend a lot of money on facial care and make-ups, she knew more than anyone I was a true believer of giving the best of care to my skin, especially facial skin.

Why wear cheap products when you can afford the better ones. After all, it is your own face, your own skin. I rather took prevention on aging instead of doing something to it, such as comestic surgery, when it was too late to do anything else.

Each time I had a little money extra, I would buy the facial care first before I spent the money on anything else. I was never willing to compromise on that.

Yes, I lived my life with a standard.

The little mundane things that made me who I was.
